I had an ignition light come on and my vehicle would not start. My husband made an appointment for it to be looked at and diagnosed officially. His code reader said that it was a fuel pump issue. This was notated on the scheduled appointment notes. My husband hauled my vehicle to the dealership on our trailer and after a few day someone called to ask him when the last time gas was put in it because they were trying to figure out if it was an ignition issue or fuel pump module. There was many times that my husband waited for a phone call as an update that did not happen. I finally called myself on 07/23 and Lindsey was not back from lunch yet. He did call me back and I appreciated that greatly. The issue was diagnosed and Ally was contacted to see if they would cover. Lindsey kept me up to date on the status of the parts order etc. When my husband left from our home 30 mins away from the dealership to pick up my car he was asked if he could come back to pick it up the next day because the paperwork wasn't 100% ready. This was after we were told to head that way because the vehicle was ready. My husband said no, that he wanted to get the vehicle then because he already made the trip. I was planning on going to Dallas the next day to take my son back to school shopping. Instead, we go to put fuel in the vehicle at CEFCO with my 5 month old baby and 5 year old son in the vehicle. A woman at the pump next to me starts hollering that gas is SPEWING underneath the vehicle. My husband looked underneath the car and the hose was never connect back. The vehicle was returned to the dealership and my keys were left in the drop box with a note asking for a PHONE CALL the next morning. There was no phone call, instead it was a text from an employee asking where fluid was leaking from. I will not be bringing my car back to this dealership for mechanical work or ever purchasing from here again. It is the small things that make the bigger picture. If a customer asks for a phone call the least you could do is call them. My children were in the car when gas was running all over the place. This was very unsettling and dangerous. I appreciate Lindsey's communication with me and he was pleasant to work with. I am upset that the technicians failed to complete their job properly and I would like for this review to reflect on them and not Lindsey.
